Thank you for your help!

A couple of weeks ago I had asked for "help" with mending these worn and frayed hexie flower centers. I received a lot of really good ideas, and appreciated each of them.  I shopped for fabric, thread and talked to a few more people and worked up my courage to get started.  I finished all 22 of them today!

Each of the 22 hexies was shaped a little different, so I had to draw and number each one individually.  Marking and numbering as I went.

Making sure not to mix up each uniquely cut and numbered pattern.  It also meant that I could only work with one hexie at a time.

 I snipped away the frayed linen hexie, pressed the new one and appliqued it on just a thread or two to the outside of the original.

I then had to small stitch quilt each hexie to look like the old ones.  This is something I have never done before, so I found it quite challenging.
