I have come to the conclusion that I'd rather make my own patterns! This was rather complicated to follow. I used tote B as my pattern choice.
It always starts with a stack of cut pieces....a LOT of them in this case!
Putting together the front and back was easy. I have decided that I don't care for iron on Pellon craft weight stabilizer. I always end up with puckers that show!
I really liked the way they suggest you make the handles. Attaching them was easy.
Boxing the corners.
Sewing the sides, bottom and boxing the corners was no problem. In this picture, you can see the zippered outside pocket.
Ironing on the fusible fleece to the zipper flange.Thank you Cindy from Live A Colorful Life, for telling us all about the Clover Clips!
And she's done! Lots of inside pockets too.
And finally.....the family portrait! My daughter snatched up the largest of the pouches before I could blink! All of those smiling kitties are priceless.

Wonderful fabrics! Those cats made me smile. These bags are great :)
Love the fabric choices! The bag turned out great. And I think those clover clips are just the handiest dandiest thing around too!
I concur Miss Vicki...one can never really have too many totes!
This one and the pouches are gorgeous and the cat fabric is darling!! Obviously your daughter is a gal with superb taste!!
These are fabulous. I think every time JoAnn's has a pattern sale, I'm down there buying tote patterns. I should follow your lead and get one or two sewn up!
I guess you can't pass up a pattern for $.70, but I know you are talented enough to make up your own.... You did it before! I am glad to see that colourful cat fabric put to use and the striped handles are a great match! I can see why your daughter nabbed that one! Fabulous job and great pictures, Vicki!
What a great tote!!! You did a fabulous job on this, inside and out. I love the photos and your fabric selections.
Wow your bag turned out so great! I've never come across that pattern before, I may have to go look for it now.
That's a great bag, Vicky. You always come up with the best color combinations. And you are so clever to make the matching bags! You are so good at making these totes - can you do a tutorial?
These are just too cute, Vicki! I love the gingham with the kitty fabric. it's so fun!
Thank you so much for sharing at Needle and Thread Thursday!

Very cute!
thanks for linking up to TGIFF, those cats are so cute and I love the clover clips for bags, make life so much easier don't they
LOVE this! I'm not usually a cat fabric person, but I love how you paired the cat fabric with the other fabrics. Very sharp!
These bags are again adorable. You are so brave making them - each time I see photos on blogs of the stack of pieces, the various stages, the zipper and the clover clips, I run a mile. Is there a better craft weight stabiliser out there for these bags than the Pellon? :)
These are SOO cute! Aren't Clover Clips the best? I might not have despised the infamous Weekender bag so much if I had just had some Clover Clips!!
Wow! Those are adorable! You are a talented gal for sure!!!
