What a wonderful sister!

I feel so privileged to have been part of the "It's A Sister Thing - 2014"!  Michelle from Quilts From My Crayon Box was our wonderful hostess with the moistest!!

I received the package from my 'sister' today, and WOW, wow, wowwie!!  I got so many goodies, and they were all so personal to me.  Thank you Grace from http://citymousequilter.blogspot.com.  I appreciate all the love and thought that went into this special package.

Look at this haul!  I was sooooo excited when I opened the package.
This darling little 16x21 in. quilt is hand quilted!  It is absolutely beautiful.  It even has orange binding.
Look at these Maine lobsters. Eeeehh!!
OK, so I couldn't even wait until after lunch to have a bite of this candy.  It's dark chocolate....my favorite!
Maine honey and a recipe to boot!
Yeah, the most delicious turquoise and navy fabric...and thread!  Now, what special project will I make with this?  I already know!
Look where I put that wonderful little quilt.  It is across my filing cabinet in my sewing room!  Now I don't have to make something for up there.  I'm thrilled!

Thank you Grace!  I really am excited about all the possibilities with all these great goodies.  I have plans for all the fabric already...yay!  I'll be following you to see what you are up to.

vicki, so happy you received the package and all the little goodies included. maine is more than harsh winters and lobster....my ancestors raked blueberries since their arrival in the 1600s...we tried the scone recipe and they are delish! enjoy all...

Love it and you are lucky that I don't live close to you or you just might find that lobster fabric disappears some day. LOL

How lovely that your sweet swap sister took time to hand quilt!

The other thing that caught my idea was your antique sewing basket. I have one of my grandmother's baskets that was very similar--although in the intervening 80 to 100 year, mine has changed quite a bit. What a treasure that it looks like yours is complete!
