Another sewing machine tote with pouches!

I am so excited about this tote!

After seeing the tote that I made for Jemma, a dear friend explained her dilemma. The handle of her sewing machine broke off a couple of years ago, and she has been having great difficulty lugging it around.  Would I possibly consider making her a tote for her sewing machine?  Why yes, I replied!
She wanted something bright and cheery.  I hope that this is cheery enough!

I added feet to the bottom.

She wanted plenty of pockets and pouches.  The pink pocket on the side is for her scissor.  There are two slit pockets on the inside.  One nice sized zipper pocket on the inside.  A slit pocket on the front and 3 pouches.  The one on the left is for the foot peddle and cord.  The one on the right is for notions with 2 slit pockets on the inside.  The small one out front is for bobbins.  I sure hope that she likes them.

STATS:
tote  - 8d x 16L x 12 1/2 h
handles - 12 1/2 in drop
Threading My Way bags/totes linky party!room to drop the machine down into the tote.  That was a little secret from Very Bradley!
foot peddle pouch - 8 x 7 with a 9 in zipper
notions pouch - 8 x 8 with a 9 in zipper
bobbin pouch - 3 1/2 x 4

Making this tote and these pouches was so much fun.  I do NOT use a pattern, I make my own!

it's lovely! gorgeous fabric. I really need to make one of these - I have a handle on my machine but I always take it to guild meetings with its cover on so lug it under my arm!

Those are brilliant!! She is sure to love them and you are a sweet friend to do it. I am very impressed that you don't use a pattern. I am a bit intimidated by doing bags myself. :-) Well done!
