Can anyone have to many totes?

Well, that is really a rhetorical question!  I love them, and found a new pattern the other day at JoAnn for 70c!  I just couldn't pass it up....McCall M6532.
I have come to the conclusion that I'd rather make my own patterns!  This was rather complicated to follow.  I used tote B as my pattern choice.
It always starts with a stack of cut pieces....a LOT of them in this case!
Putting together the front and back was easy.  I have decided that I don't care for iron on Pellon craft weight stabilizer.  I always end up with puckers that show!
I really liked the way they suggest you make the handles. Attaching them was easy.
 Boxing the corners.
Sewing the sides, bottom and boxing the corners was no problem.  In this picture, you can see the zippered outside pocket.

Ironing on the fusible fleece to the zipper flange.
Thank you Cindy from Live A Colorful Life, for telling us all about the Clover Clips!
And she's done!  Lots of inside pockets too.

And finally.....the family portrait!  My daughter snatched up the largest of the pouches before I could blink!  All of those smiling kitties are priceless.

Love the fabric choices! The bag turned out great. And I think those clover clips are just the handiest dandiest thing around too!

These are fabulous. I think every time JoAnn's has a pattern sale, I'm down there buying tote patterns. I should follow your lead and get one or two sewn up!

I guess you can't pass up a pattern for $.70, but I know you are talented enough to make up your own.... You did it before! I am glad to see that colourful cat fabric put to use and the striped handles are a great match! I can see why your daughter nabbed that one! Fabulous job and great pictures, Vicki!

LOVE this! I'm not usually a cat fabric person, but I love how you paired the cat fabric with the other fabrics. Very sharp!

These bags are again adorable. You are so brave making them - each time I see photos on blogs of the stack of pieces, the various stages, the zipper and the clover clips, I run a mile. Is there a better craft weight stabiliser out there for these bags than the Pellon? :)

These are SOO cute! Aren't Clover Clips the best? I might not have despised the infamous Weekender bag so much if I had just had some Clover Clips!!
