This purse is made from fabric given to me by Deborah and Cindy from 'Road to California'. Thanks guys for the great fabric bundle!!!
I made a new pattern for this purse. I wanted something shaped just a tad different. I accidental erased most of the progress pictures. But you can get the idea of how the outside of this bag was quilted. I made the sides slanted for more room at the bottom of the purse.
I also added purse feet to the bottom of this bag. It protects the bottom when you set it down on the floor.
At this stage, I pinned the lining down to top stitch around the top of the bag. The zipper has not been attached as of yet.
I used a woven belting for the strap. I had to figure out a way to enclose the ends so that they would not unravel.
There is a zipper pocket on one side of the outside....
...and a slit pocket on the other.
There are two pockets on the inside. One zipper and the other slit.
I ran out of any one fabric, so the inside is also pieced! I just love all the colors and fabrics.
Here she is!!! I just love this bag. She measures 10" high x 12" wide x 6" deep! I'm sorry I can't tell you the manufacturer or the designer of this line. I'm not up on all of the great designers out there.
Thank you again Deborah and Cindy!!!
