So I set out to make enough blocks to total 30.
I knew that we'd still want it bigger still, so I bought some solid green from Hancock for 3 in. sashing.
All the sashing and the corner stones are cut and ready to be sewn! It's coming along.
Here she is waiting for me to cut out the outside border. I didn't have enough of one fabric, so the border is a 6 in. width of all the leftover fabrics.
She ended up 89x104! A great size for a queen bed. The binding will be the pale stripe fabric. You can see it better in the picture above.

What a lovely peaceful green. It brings the whole quilt top in line.
The green sashing you chose is just perfect- so soft and refreshing! And what a great job you are doing at putting this together!
That will turn out to be a beautiful quilt with it is finished. Lucky the extras came with it.
You and Cindy make a wonderful team! Love the fabric you chose for the sashing and that scrappy border. What a gorgeous finish!

It's so pretty! What a nice colour combo ; )
What a beautiful, calming quilt! I liked the blocks when I saw them in the first photo, but your choice for sashing and border really pulled it all together. Someone will be very pleased to receive such a lovely gift.
This quilt has such wonderful subdued shades in it! I personally love all the green! You sure whipped this one out fast!
Beautiful!
